A beautiful vintage 'fede' ring in 9ct yellow gold with a single ruby, with the hands & heart representing friendship & love.

A 'fede' ring is the name for a ring deigned with two clasped hands, and in this case with a heart also, a variation of the 'fede' ring, which is similar to a 'claddagh' ring.   The fede ring design dates back to ancient times, with the word 'fede' meaning 'loyalty' and 'trust' in Italian.  

This ring is a vintage version of this ancient design, fully hallmarked 1969.
